Two days later…
“Chuck, when will Sonic go back?” Amy asked.
“Soon, I just have to fix something…”
“Like what?”
“I lost communication with them yesterday…”
“YOU WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?”
“Calm down, I’ll do the best I can to get them back.”
“You promise?”
“Yes, I promise.”

Four months later…
“Sonic, what happened to you?” Amy asked herself. It had been a long time since they left. Chuck still hadn’t fixed the problem. She asked him everyday if he got it fixed, all he says is “Soon.” It was the time of the day for her question again. She walked over to the base and entered. Chuck was surely there.
“Did you fix it already?”
“Amy, I’m sorry. There’s no hope, they might be dead by now.”
“I can’t believe this is happening.”
“Yeah, me too.”
“Sonic promised he’d come back!”
“I know, that’s now a broken promise.”
Amy ran outside and towards the riverside. Her tears sparkled against the bright sun. She tripped a few times and landed on the bed of rose petals. What will she do now? Sonic promised he’d return. But… how? This is all Eggman’s fault! He will pay for this, he will pay no matter what happens, he will pay.
She stood up and balled her fist. “Don’t worry Sonic, I will avenge you.” She said. “Eggman, you better watch your back! Cause I’m coming!”


For a decade, she trained and trained. She became much stronger and looked more mature. She changed her name and her outfit, as well as her weapon. Glossy black suit, boots, and gloves, long pink and silver hair, a chain belt, a gun, a G.U.N. watch, make up? Yes we all know her… It’s Candy Whitlock.


Amy grinned evilly and started her journey to search Eggman. She used a car now. Yes, it’s glossy black, too. She drove around and around for three years but never found him.
“No, I am not giving up. I will avenge Sonic!” She said to herself. The sun has set and it’s very dark. She drove home and on the way, someone she’d been waiting for appeared, Shadow the Hedgehog.
“Shadow!”
“Huh? Oh, hi Amy.”
“Listen, can you bring me to Eggman?”
“What for?”
“Oh, some vengeance.”
“I’m not stupid, you could get hurt there.”
“Come with me then.”
“No.”
“Please?” She started to fake cry. “I need somebody strong by my side.”
“Okay, okay. Just stop the waterworks.”
“Good.”
